Which program are you part of at CoreFit? Group fitness
What training, if any, did you do before starting with CoreFit? I played soccer and cricket in my youth, but my physical activity was patchy as an adult and I’d never been to a gym before.
What inspired you to reach out to CoreFit to get started? I’d hit a low with my physical and – more importantly – my mental health. I knew I needed to do something different, and that’s when I saw an ad for a CoreFit Kickstart challenge that ran for four weeks. I thought to myself, “well what have you got to lose?
Whats the #1 thing you’ve noticed in yourself since starting? The biggest change is the improvement to my mental health. People often focus on the physical changes (and I’ve had some great success here too), but since I’ve started exercising regularly my overall mood is vastly better, and I feel like I’m more resilient to troubles life throws at me.
What do you enjoy most about training at CoreFit? At the beginning, it was the beginner-friendly atmosphere and supportive trainers. Now that I’m almost 2 years in, the friendly atmosphere is the same and the trainers are supporting me in more intermediate workouts.The Group Fitness classes are always good fun, and have always been the right amount of challenge for whatever fitness level I’m at.
What’s your number #1 piece of advice for anyone looking to start their fitness journey? The hardest part is starting. I had a million excuses, but eventually you realise that’s all they are. The CoreFit trainers will tailor the workout to your age, fitness and even any injuries. The members are fantastic and will support you through even the toughest session. You’ll never regret it.
