Which program are you part of at CoreFit? Large Group.

What training, if any, did you do before starting with CoreFit? No training – just walking, hiking and the odd hit of tennis.

What inspired you to reach out to CoreFit to get started? I’ve been active all my life and certainly agree that “age is just a number”. But the way I was feeling physically a year and a half ago I knew I needed to do something different, and to try a new challenge so I could get back to how I felt 15 years ago. An ad came up to try CoreFit and from that very first conversation with Dan, and the first few awkward classes tackling new equipment and moves, I’ve felt supported and motivated to set and achieve new goals for myself.

Whats the #1 thing you’ve noticed in yourself since starting? I trust that my body won’t let me down! I feel stronger, fitter, more flexible, and when I need to run the block because I’m late for the bus I can.

What do you enjoy most about training at CoreFit? The encouragement of the coaches, the sense of community, celebrating everyone’s wins – big and small, the feeling of not being judged, and being comfortable about giving everything a go even if it’s the first time or you can only do it half way.

What’s your number #1 piece of advice for anyone looking to start their fitness journey? It won’t happen overnight but with the right people encouraging you, a personal commitment to yourself, and some self belief, you will see positive change.
