” My Corefit experience has been a slow and steady health and fitness journey. When my friend Tanya introduced me to CoreFit about 18 months ago, I was sedentary, always tired, overweight and not very interested in exercise. Now I am stronger, fitter, 10 kgs lighter and much more active – I feel the positive effects of these healthy lifestyle changes every day.
CoreFit has given me the tools to take better care of myself through committing to regular exercise, changing my eating habits and most importantly believing that I can make a change.
I had tried and failed to take control of my health and weight many times in the past but always found excuses to eat poorly, skip exercise and lacked any real motivation. I’m still working towards my fitness goals but I’m so happy with what I’ve achieved so far and to be moving in the right direction. There have been some challenges along the way but I’ve learnt to be patient, persevere and not be so hard on myself when things don’t always go to plan.
My small group evening sessions are the perfect fit for me – training with a great bunch of people, coaches who challenge and encourage me and the accountability of a regular timeslot. Accountability has really made a difference for me, in the past I had gym memberships but rarely ever went to the gym and now I never want to miss a session.
I’m looking forward to continuing to making my health and fitness goals a priority.”
