What inspired you to reach out to CoreFit to get started?

Believe it or not a Corefit Facebook advertisement calling out for woman over 50’s to join their challenge. I didn’t join the challenge but it made me feel comfortable that there were most likely other people in my age group attending the gym.

Whats the #1 thing you’ve noticed in yourself since starting?

I’ve been able to work through and around my chronic injuries thanks to Corefit. I started with alternative exercises in the small group classes, which helped me stay active while managing my limitations. Now, Dan programs tailored training for me, keeping me mobile and focused on improving those injuries. Which has proven to be invaluable.

What do you enjoy most about training at CoreFit?

I love that the coaches take the time to teach proper technique. That’s important to me for preventing injury and making sure I get the most from each workout. It’s also a great atmosphere, with plenty of banter and laughs along the way, including Dan’s Wednesday trivia.

What training, if any, did you do before starting with CoreFit?

I had been attending a gym consistently for many years before joining Corefit.

What’s your number #1 piece of advice for anyone looking to start their fitness journey?

Technique is key, so watch and learn from the coaches. Ignore what everyone is capable of, they all started at day one too. Let them be your inspiration not your comparison!
