Just showing up is a win in itself!
How many times have you beaten yourself up over not doing your best at a workout?
You show up ready to exercise, motivation is low, you’re just not feeling it. Your workout feels like a grind and it’s not to the standard you’d like.
As a result, you feel bad because you didn’t do your best.
If you’ve ever been here before, I want applaud you for showing up. 👏🏻
You do know that most people wouldn’t show up at all right!?
Instead of beating yourself up, be proud that you showed up for yourself in the first place.
There’s strength and resilience in that alone!
There will be times when the motivation monster beats you, but part of creating a healthy lifestyle involves building character in yourself.
Showing up when you don’t feel like it goes a long way to building up your mental muscles over time 💪🏼
You’re not always going to be motivated 😊
The more we follow through on our intentions to exercise or eat healthier, the more trust we build with ourselves and the better we feel for it
On the flip side, the more we don’t follow through on our intentions, the more our brain gives into reasons why we shouldn’t bother.
