” I made a sea change to Newcastle in may 2019. One of my goals when I moved was to devote more time to my health and fitness.
I have an ongoing love/hate relationship with exercise but when I contacted CoreFit and chatted to Dan and Ali I felt it would be a good fit for me.
Fast forward 12 Months I’m a lot fitter and I’ve dropped 10kgs, quite a few cm’s and I’ve been able to come off my blood pressure meds.
I still have a daily love/hate relationship with exercise but I’ve realised it’s a crucial part of not only my physical wellbeing but more importantly a must for me mentally.
I’ve also worked alot in the last 6 months on my relationship with food and with Dan and Ali’s ongoing support (read butt kicking) I’m trying to curb a lifelong “all or nothing” mentality.
Some days I do really well, others are still a train wreck but I’m getting better at halting my slide down the slippery slope.
I’m the living model of ‘progress not perfection.”
