Which program are you part of at CoreFit?
What training, if any, did you do before starting with CoreFit?
Lee – Spin and pump classes at a large gym
Liza – I had dabbled in and out of a couple of gyms and classes from yoga to body pump for a couple of years on and off and participating in Parkrun
What inspired you to reach out to CoreFit to get started?
Lee – Enjoyment and community found at Corefit by Liza.
Liza – I didn’t feel the training I was accessing was meeting my needs in relation to the exercises being offered, environment or culture. A friend had talked about this great fitness company in the past and then put out an invite to join her at a buddy session. I was wanting a change so it was a good opportunity.
Whats the #1 thing you’ve noticed in yourself since starting?
Lee – Better upper body strength.
Liza – I am stronger, fitter, happier and more confident in my body and what it is capable of. This impacted my training but also my life outside of training eg easier to set up our camper van due to my increased strength.
What do you enjoy most about training at CoreFit?
Lee – The friendly inclusive environment.
Liza – Everything, the variety in the sessions, the support, guidance and encouragement from the trainer’s and the people and friendships I have made. The community is very special and something the organisation should be very proud of.
What’s your number #1 piece of advice for anyone looking to start their fitness journey?
Lee – Be open to trying new things, you just might surprise yourself.
Liza – Just do it, set small goals, celebrate your successes, forgive yourself when it doesn’t go to plan, laugh move on , commit and invest in you.
