Which program are you part of at CoreFit?

Group fitness

What training, if any, did you do before starting with CoreFit?

I have had an inconsistent approach to health and fitness previously. Jumping into fitness challenges at gyms and losing weight fast only to gain it all again plus more just as quickly.

What inspired you to reach out to CoreFit to get started?

I wanted to be part of something. My weight had reached almost 100kg. I felt bad about myself and my mental health was suffering, I didn’t just want a gym, I wanted a community, a place that I would enjoy being part of, it sounds like an easy box to tick “something more than a gym” but I struggled to find the right fit. After engaging with Ali and Dan via Facebook and after my first introductory session, I realised Corefit was exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t looked back.

Whats the #1 thing you’ve noticed in yourself since starting?

Consistency. I haven’t trained with this level of engagement and consistency before. I feel physically strong but mentally stronger. It’s hard to explain how training here has impacted my inner mind not just my fitness.

What do you enjoy most about training at CoreFit?

The culture is incredible. Motivational, engaging and supportive. A true team of people on a fitness journey lead by coaches who push you out of your comfort zone to achieve things you never thought was possible.

What’s your number #1 piece of advice for anyone looking to start their fitness journey?

Back yourself. Making the decision to put yourself out there and walk through the doors are the most terrifying and difficult step you will take. But, I can guarantee after those first steps you will realise that the team, the coaches and the environment is better than you ever could have imagined. Do yourself a favour, back yourself and take the first step to improve your physical and mental fitness.
