Somethings I have learnt from joining the gym: 

“It’s going to be hard, but hard does not mean impossible!”

“Believe in yourself and you will be unstoppable!”

“I can do anything!!”

After going through a bad break up, quitting my job, stressed about life, scared of doing things alone, feeling defeated, always doing things to please or make others happy and losing myself. I knew it was time that I had to start doing and looking after myself.

So a quick scroll through Instagram I stumbled across an add for a 6 week challenge and thought yes this is what I need to start finding myself again and to step outside my comfort zone. So I made a consultation with the gym and began my 6 week challenge journey. I lost a massive 10kgs within that time, so I decided to join the gym for a further 12 months.

From wanting to join a gym to lose weight I have now smashed that goal and have lost a massive 29.8kgs, my new goal is working on gaining muscle to start toning myself.

But I have gained so much more than just weight loss I have more energy, I’m a lot stronger than I thought, I’ve found new confidence within myself, I stand up for myself, I have meet some amazing people, I’m less stressed as I know things will work out because I have found a new way of looking at life (nothing but positive vibes!), and most of all I have found myself again!!!

I love being pushed to my limits from the trainers and other clients. The faith that this gym has in you is so positive that it pushes you and you begin having this new amazing belief within yourself.

I’m extremely proud of how far I have come, the road I have travelled hasn’t been easy, by any means. But the more I stayed on top of my journey and pushed myself to go, even if I felt down and crappy, has made it all worth while and I have never once looked back!!
