I don't care how many calories you've burned - Corefit Newcastle
girl on the ropes

Not to sound insensitive, but how many calories you burned during a workout really doesn’t interest me at all.

And here’s why…

If you want to create a lean, healthy body, you will never get there by trying to burn calories with exercise.

There are a few things we can address around this.

First, how many calories your machine or monitor tells you you’ve burned is inaccurate. Without knowing a lot of factors that are unique to you, there’s simply no way to give you an accurate count.

Beyond that though, I’m more concerned with creating overall metabolic efficiency.

I care about you adding muscle so that you can burn more calories 24/7, in addition to changing the shape of your body, combating age-related decline, and so much more that I won’t go into here.

Instead, focus on training for intensity and strength.

Not only will you change the shape of your body and improve your health, you will no longer concern yourself with pesky calorie counting on inaccurate machines and devices.

The truth is that you can’t exercise off that donut or slice of pizza.

And nor should you.

Here at CoreFit we are experts in helping our clients create maximally efficient metabolisms.

If that’s something you’d like support with, contact us and we’ll be in touch with you right away to see if we can help.

Hopefully this was eye opening for you!
